Pinay folk singer to stage an open air concert in Austria

Shirley Dimaano, a Pinay singer in Austria is set to stage an open air concert on June 15, 2013 together with Band at the Gasthaus Almfrieden, Am Almfrieden 87, 2724 Hohe Wand.

Shirley comes from Batangas, Philippines. She  studied at the  Adamson University in Manila and got involved in a charitable, non-governmental organization Charles Gorrissen Foundation in favour of street children and urban young people in the area

Aside from being a talented singer, Shirley is also a linguist. She studied French language and civilization  in France.

Having lived and worked in Szeged, Hungary with Hungarian partner, Shirley also masters the Hungarian language.

As a singer, she made a Debut concert “Tribute to Edith Piaf” in Subotica, Serbia with prominet Serbian musicians.

Shirley moved to Austria  in 2007. Her band Key to the light Band was founded in 2008.
